We pride ourselves in providing high-quality scanning and indexing services. Whether backfile or day-forward scanning, we can design a project to meet your budget- and scanning requirements.
Using the most advanced scanning equipment gives us the capability to handle anything from the smallest documents, such as employee time cards; to the largest, such as building plans. We also offer pre-scanning services such as document preparation and post-scanning services like optical character recognition (OCR) and indexing.
Regular format document scanning - Using state-of-the-art Fujitsu scanning equipment and Kofax VRS, MCCi provides scanning services for a variety of documents up to size 11” x 18” in both color and black/white.
Large format document scanning - Large-format can include blueprints, maps, drawings, plans, etc.
Bound book scanning - To preserve the integrity of bound-book documents, MCCi utilizes a scanner specifically created for scanning bound books. You can be confident your books will be treated with care and returned without damage, the binding intact.
Electronic Document Conversion - Archiving and indexing electronic documents (word processor, spreadsheet, etc.), converting them to TIFF images and integrating them with the Laserfiche Viewer Software.
Document Preparation - MCCi can conduct the time-consuming task of preparing documents for scanning. This includes removing documents from books or binders; removing staples, paperclips or tape; ironing out wrinkles and mending tears, etc. Our staff is highly trained in permanent document records handling and fully understands the irreplaceable value of your original documents.
Image Processing Services for searching and archival - Once your documents are scanned, MCCi can process them with optical character recognition software (OCR) and index them for you. This will allow you to perform full-text or template searches on your documents with a search & retrieval software.
Image Output Services - MCCi can provide your documents in a wide variety of image formats to allow for easy integration into your current records management system. These include TIFF, JPEG, PDF, Laserfiche, and more. We can also take these images and make them available on multiple forms of media including CD, DVD, removable disc or the Internet.
